Mark Nicklas, head of Unit at the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs will provide an overview of planned EU legislative measures relevant to the automotive aftermarket. His presentation will delve into in-vehicle data, cyber protection, and the future of On-board-Diagnostics (OBD).  

Boston Consulting Group (BCG) will introduce an exclusive preview of the results from the new CLEPA/BCG study on the relevance of fleets for the automotive aftermarket. The analysis includes an indication of overall trends, general market size and structure of fleets, as well as the future role of fleet operators in the service and repair market.

In new vehicles, where software is increasingly important, electronic architectures are key to enable advanced functions and services. Robert Bosch GmbH will provide an insightful keynote looking at upcoming technology trends and the different Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) in vehicles and regular software updates.
